Overview
The GP-004-03 is a fully hackable open source thermal imager. The unit contains the following sub system:
- Lithium-ion charging circuit,Boost converter,
- ATmega328-based Microprocessor,
- 1.8 inch TFT display
and depends on the ordering option, you could use
- MLX90621(16×4)
- MLX90614(single dot)
thermal sensors.

- Thermal Imager socket (TO-92 4 pin)
- 160×128 resolution, 18-bit (262,144) color TFT display
- Blackberry-style trackball and button
- Recharge circuit for 14500 Lithium-ion battery
- Laser pointer
- ICSP connector to either load a new bootloader or program the flash
- USB serial converter used to program and view the serial data on computer
- Reset switch
- MLX90621 16×4 Thermal Imager (included/excluded per selection)
- MLX90614 Single Dot Temperature Sensor (included/excluded per selection)
- Factory calibrated (@ Melexis factory) in wide temperature range: -40 to 85°C for sensor temperature and -20 to 300°C for object temperature
- Three field of view options: 60°x15°, 40°x10° and 100°x25°
- High speed I2C digital interface for fast data transfer
- Programmable frame rate 0.5 to 512 Hz
- Fully open source Arduino code
